Debbie the Dalmatian loves nothing more than long, leisurely walks with her master, her spots gleaming in the sunlight. She trots proudly beside them, tail wagging with each step. But when magpies start their raucous calls, Debbie’s ears flatten in fear. She knows within in moments they’ll swoop to protect their nest.
